New Year - New Album

My sister, Lynn from San Diego visited over the Christmas holidays and we spent much of the time in the craft room doing some projects that we've been wanting to do for some time.
This first project was a class she was going to take at Stamping Details in Poway, Ca. but was unable to make. We had her class kit and a couple of photos and winged it from there.  LOL
Took us a while, but I think we got close to what it was supposed to be and naturally put our own spins on it.  This project and one other were both classes at Stamping Details
given by Magdalena.   Her classes are awesome and her projects quite detailed!
Anyway - here's the first one!

This album was created using G45's Bohemian Bazaar cardstock and embellies.
It's 7 1/2" wide x 7" tall and the base was from basic black CS.

Here's a shot of the outside...  the bling is from Zva Creatives
and the ribbon from May Arts.

This is the album with the front opened up...
the center piece is a flap that opens down and
the sides have 2 pockets on each side panel.
Flowers courtesy of Prima

With the first flap down, you see another panel that will
open upward.....

When the above panel is lifted up, another appears.
This panel in the center will fold downward.

Close up of the insert panels.

When the above panel is folded down, then
there are 6 pockets (3 on each side).
These each have a pull-out panel.

Pockets open up to reveal the bottom panel.

The bottom panel has two pockets.

This project was a lot of fun to do.....

Hope you enjoyed it.

  4. Your rock, Brenda! This is fantastic project. Love the papers you've used on it and the way you decorated the front of the album. Thoise little pockets are adorable. Love that you used same paper to decorate the ... hmm... I don't know how to say it... these colorful half circles on the paper that goes inside of the little pocket. I like that they matc with the pockets. Stunning work!

    1. Thanks, Eret.... the little half circles were the "leftovers" from making the half circle "holes" in the pockets....
