Magic Card Tutorial

Supplies:
1 piece double sided cardstock:     Cut to 11 3/4" x 5 1/4"  -  Score at  3 3/4"  -  7 1/2"  -  11 1/4"
Contrasting cardstock:   Cut to 3 1/2" x 1"  -  Score at  1 3/4"
White cardstock for image panel:   5 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Acetate:   5 1/2" x 3 1/2"
Die for cutting the window
Black Staz-on for stamping on acetate
Black ink of your choice for stamping your image - depending on your coloring medium
(do not use Staz-on with Copics or other alcohol inks)
Stamp Positioner
Red-liner Tape
Embellishment  (mine was made using Super Adhesive Sheets from Sparkle N Sprinkle - used on white cardstock and covered with a metallic stick on and Dazzling Rose glitter also from SNS)

Score your base card and fold all score lines inward.  Cut your window in the center section nearer the top.  Add a strip of red-liner tape to the outside edge of the flap (do not remove the liner yet)

Stamp your image and phrase on the white cardstock piece.  You can lay the c ardstock under the window and stamp it  -  or you can lay the cardstock under the window and lightly draw a pencil line around the circle (erase after stamping) and stamp your image.
Color your image with the coloring medium of your choice.
Attach a strip of red-liner tape across the top of the image panel and attach the acetate panel to it.
Using a stamp positioner, stamp your image on the acetate using the Staz-on ink so that it is exactly over the stamped and colored image.

Attach another strip of red-liner tape across the top of the acetate and adhere the front of the 3 1/2" x 1" piece to it.  Attach another strip of tape to the back of the panel and fold the piece over to make a "pull band" across the top of your magic panel.

Remove the liner from the tape on your card base and fold all the flaps inward  -  including the small flap on the end.  Your card should now be flat.

The final steps:    Insert your image panel so that the acetate piece is in the front slot and the colored image piece is in the aback slot.  Attach your glitter flower (or other) embellishment to the card front.

LET THE MAGIC BEGIN!!!
